New Beggings and Activity Days

Today was a busy busy day. Ryan called me and told me that she wasn't going to DWA today because she had so many things to get done before tonight so I told her that was fine I wouldn't go either. I had a few things I needed to do anyway. So she came and got me and we went out to a few stores then headed to the church to get ready for New Beginnings. Niki showed up to help us out which we really needed in the end. Ryan had the brilliant idea of taking PVC pipe and cutting them down from eight feet to six feet and then wrapping them (eight foot) in green crate paper and then tieing balloons to the top to make them look like trees. I loved the idea and told her that she should use the other pieces (two foot ) and doing the same thing but use them as the center pieces for the tables. She agreed and Niki and I proceeded to blow up about 220 balloons to make them. They were beautiful but a lot of hard work. There were a ton of other things that we did but it would take to long to write them all out. After everything was set up they began the program. I proceeded to go to Activity Days even though not very many people showed up. It was fine and a great lesson. Afterwards we cleaned up and then I went in to help out with New Beginnings. They finished and we cleaned up and home we went. Now we are going to bed.

Missing my hubby and an Early Day.

I just have to say that this week is taking forever. I miss my husband so much and can't wait to see him again. He will be home on Friday morning. How crazy is this. I really don't realize how much I depend on him until he leaves. I feel for those woman who have to send their husbands away for long periods of time. I couldn't do it. But anyway now about my day.

Ok today started out very early this morning. Isiaha arrived at my house at 4:15 this morning and was still sleeping so we went back to bed. The kids woke me up as they were leaving for the bus. I forgot to reset my alarm so I could get up with them. Its cool though. They are very independent children and can get ready on their own. I love that about them. I still like to get up with them just so we can spend some time together before they start their day. While Isiaha slept I finished cleaning the house that I started to clean last night. Then got ready to go to Zumba. Then I got the wonderful realization that Isiaha showed up this morning with no shoes. Oh shoot what am I going to do. He can't go into the daycare at the Y without shoes, so I tried to call Ryan but she didn't answer. Right after that Michelle texted me and asked if I needed a ride to the Y for Zumba and I said I wasn't sure if I was going to go because Isiaha didn't have any shoes. She said she would bring a pair of Brently's that I could use for the day and would be here to get me at 11:30. I said great and finished getting ready for the day. After Zumba I headed out with Ryan since Michelle was planning on staying for the Circuit class and Abs class after Zumba. She is crazy. Anyway Ryan needed to go to Wal-Mart to pick up some things she needed to make some kind of Samoan (I hope I spelled that right) dish for Annaliese for the Relief Society Birthday Party tonight at the church. While we were there we ran into Niki who was also getting things for her dish she is making and then we ran into April Wheeler who also was there for the same reason. I think everyone was on the same mind track today. Thank goodness I didn't volunteer for anything. Whew. lol. Anyway after Wal-Mart we headed back to my house to drop Isiaha and I off and Ryan went. Once I got home I fixed both of us some lunch and put Isiaha down for a nap and took a shower to get ready for tonight. Then Tiffany came and got Isiaha to take him to her aunts house for a birthday party. After they left Ryan showed up to take us all to the church for the get together. When we got there we set up the table and finished cooking the food then we started. We gabbed for a bit then every table had someone come up and talk about the country they we in charge of. After a bit more talking we all headed out. It was a great time. Now we are home and getting things ready for tomorrow.

That's all for tonight. Blog at you later.

A new day

Ok so I have been up since 6:30 this morning. One because I just couldn't sleep because that is usually the time that Dale comes home and Two because I needed to get Isiaha. I got him today now that he is feeling better. I'm glad he is feeling better but even more I'm glad that we were both sick on the same week that way we didn't pass it back and forth to each other. He is such a good little boy. I really love watching him. Anyway after I got him in the house he fell back asleep and I put the kids on the bus and got ready for the day. I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to go to DWA but Ryan texted me this morning and said she was coming to get me at 10:50. I was totally thrilled. I hate missing class. Christie of course kicked my butt and I loved it. I didn't get a chance to relax in the hot tub though cause the worker showed up and said that Isiaha needed to be changed so Ryan and I got out and checked our kids out and went home. Once we got here I changed him and fed him some lunch then we played on the floor for a bit and watched a couple of shows that he loves then I layed him down for a nap. He was out for about an hour and a half and James and Tiffany showed up. They took him and I proceeded to clean up the living room until the kids got home. Then I cooked dinner. We had Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and spinach. Yummmm. Then Ryan and her kids showed up and I watched them while she went to a Visiting Teaching meeting. Then she came and got them at a little past nine. Now we are going to bed.

A sad goodbye in every since of the word

It is late and I should be sleeping right now but he left tonight and I just can't sleep. Yes I mean Dale. You see every year on the anniversary of his hiring the TDOC sends him to Talahoma for training. While it is only a week long he is gone the whole time and I miss him so much. I know its silly but I am just so use to sending him to work and him coming home in the morning. It just seems strange not to have him here. I'm sure the week will pass by fast but for me it will seem like forever until it gets to Thursday night. That's when he comes home. Although he wont be here long because he has to work that night but he will have Friday off. That's a good thing. Anyway enough about that.

Ater he left I watched the movie "Amish Grace" on LMN and cried like a baby. It was such a good movie but I couldn't help but think of the poor family in CLK1st that lost their daughter yesterday. While I don't know all of the details from what I understand she was hit by a car and died. She was only 10 years old. My deepest sorry goes out to them and my prayers are also with them while they go through this horrible time. I know they have faith that she is in a better place but as a mother myself I can only guess as to what she is going through. I would never want to bury my child. That is just not how it is suppose to be. Anyway I hope she finds peace soon.

Well I am tired and ready for bed. So Blog at you later.

Babysitting

Ok so yesterday I got the call I always love to hear. My dear friend (well I consider her and her family friends) Jamie called me to say that she was in a jam and needed my help. I said sure whats up. She proceeded to tell me that Josh (her husband) was leaving for a few weeks for some kind of jumpers school and needed me to watch her wonderful girls ( Bella (5) and Sophia (2 1/2) ) for her while she took him to the airport and then went to work. I said gladly and she told me they needed to leave by 8:15 am and could I please be there by 7:45. I said yes and that I would see her in the morning. After that I went about the rest of my day and Dale re informed me that he would be leaving on Sunday night to go to his training. I said I remembered and finished doing the house work and getting things ready for him.

Now for today. I woke up at 6:30 this morning so that I could take a shower and get ready to go to Jamie's house. Elyssa and Dominic had asked yesterday if I would make cinnamon rolls for breakfast today and I said yes. So after showering and getting dressed I made breakfast for the kids and then headed out with Elyssa to Jamie's. I got there right at 8:00 and told her I was sorry but the drive took me longer than I thought. She said not to worry about it and that she didn't need to leave for another 15 minutes. The girls remembered me right away and Elyssa too. I was a little surprised considering the last time I really babysat them was about 8 or 9 months ago. Man the shot up like weeds. Anyway I wished Josh a safe trip and said goodbye. After about 30 minutes of being there the girls were ready for breakfast so I fixed them what they wanted and got them dressed for the day. All three girls played all day and had a blast. I made lunch for everyone and then put the two little ones down for a nap. Elyssa and I watched a little tv and hung out then the girls got up and played outside until Jamie got home at 4:00. I stayed and talked with her for a bit then had to leave.

When I got home I spent some time with Dale and helped him decide what he was going to take with him this week. Then I had to take the kids and go to the church because they were having a young woman broadcast and Ryan thought I should go. I'm not technically in young woman's but since I do have them for camp I agreed. I'm glad I went although it was just Ryan, myself, and Meghan Detrick and her mom. It was a really good program.

Anyway I am home now and headed to bed. Blog at you later.

Felling Better

Ok so today I am feeling 100% better. Yahhhhh. Ok so I got up and cleaned again this morning because it seems that when mom is out of commission the house goes to shambles. Uhhhh. Anyway after I finished cleaning I helped Dj finish packing up his stuff for his overnight camp out with the Scouts. He was so excited. After dropping him off I headed over to Danielle's house to pick up the girls for a sleepover. They were very excited to come over as was Elyssa. She has not gotten to spend really good quality time with her best friend in a long time so she was thrilled when I told her we were going to get them. After we got home we ate lunch and Dale went to the Y to work out. Meanwhile I watched the movie The Blind Side...Wow all I can say it that is a great movie. I even watched it twice in a row. Once with Jessica and once with Dale. Both times I cried and laughed. Great movie. Well now I am finishing today's blog and headed to bed.

A day of sickness

Today started out ok. I got a call from Tiffany at 4:30 this morning telling me that Isiaha was sick. Poor thing I hate when kids are sick, so she wasn't going to bring him over just in case whatever he had was contagious. I said thanks and went back to sleep. Then Dale came home at 7:00 and at first it didn't register that he wasn't suppose to be here. So I said good morning and went back to sleep. Then all of the sudden like 5 mins later I sat strait up in bed and was like what are you doing here. You are suppose to be working a double today. He said they didn't have anyone in the hospital so they didn't need him so he came home. Then he dropped the bomb on me. You see he is suppose to go for training every year to update his gun permit and learn some new things and we thought that he would be going at the end of April like he has done the last two years but today they told him that he will be leaving for training next Sunday. Man I hate when they spring stuff on you at the last minute like that. Anyway I was like fine and went back to sleep. I finally woke up at about 9:30 and went out into the living room to find my son laying on the floor by the door shooting his sister with his Nerf gun trying to wake her up. She was sleeping on the couch. I told him to stop and he did. When I bent down to wake her up she was burning up. So I gave her some meds and sent her back to bed. I proceeded to do my daily routine and get ready for Zumba. I was feeling ok but not 100%. More like 95%. I went ahead and went to class anyway thinking it was just because maybe I slept to long. I felt fine until about twenty minutes into class I started to feel sick. I told Michelle that I was going to leave and she kinda teased a little then I said I wasn't feeling well. She said that there is a tummy virus going around and that I probably caught it. Yah me. Not. So I got my stuff and left. Well at first I sat out in the hall to catch my breath and then left. As soon as I got out to the car I threw up. Yuck, I hate that. Then I drove home and went strait to bed. I told Dale I wasn't feeling well and he said he was sorry. That was at about 12:45 and I slept until almost 8:00. I woke up and Elyssa said she was feeling better. Not 100% but much better. That gives me hope. Her fever broke and she was acting normal again. I said good night and put the kids to bed then sent Dale off to work and Now I am finishing up with this blog and heading back to bed. I hope Isiaha is feeling better and I get him tomorrow. We shall see.

What a day

Ok today went great. I got Isiaha from his mom at 6:30 and he and Elyssa played until it was time for me to go to DWA. Silly me thought that today for some reason was Wednesday and to to the gym at 10:00 thinking that I was early for class. So I waited and waited and waited and finally at 10:40 I called Michelle to see if class had been canceled because no one was there yet. She laughed and said "Silly today is Monday and class doesn't start until 11:15." Duhhhh that was silly of me. Anyway I laughed about it and stayed in the pool area until everyone showed up. Then had a great laugh about it when I told all my girls what happened to me today. He he he. Anyway after class Ryan showed up and said she had some family drama to deal with but she was sorry she missed class. I guess she thought I was going to come with her and walk the trail but I didn't bring my tennys so I just went home. She called me on her way to ask why I didn't join her and I told her I didn't realize she had wanted me to but I couldn't have anyway because I was wearing the wrong shoes. Anyway we planned on meeting back up at the gym to let the kids swim but I forgot that I didn't have a booster seat for Isiaha so I told Dale and the kids to go ahead and I stayed behind and watched Isiaha until his mom and dad came to get him at 4:30. They told me that it would be like that everyday five days a week. I would start at 4:30 am and end at about 3:30 pm. Wow what a long day. But I don't mind because he is a great kid. Anyway I am pooped so I am headed to be. My days start early now.

New Callings

Ok so I can finally talk about my new calling. Well not really new, more like an upgrade so to speak. So anyway I was called a few years ago to be the new Activity Day Girls assistant leader which I was totally thrilled about. Then our leader Carmen got released and they replaced her with Wendy but she didn't last long because her husband had to go back to Memphis to finish school. Meanwhile they called another assistant, Molly but never replaced Wendy leaving two assistants and no leader. So what else was I going to do but step in and take charge right. Well that's what I did and for that effort they released me as assistant and called me to be the New Activity Day Girls leader. Plus they gave me a second assistant. Yahhhhh. I am so happy. Anyway that was not the only good news of the day. My best friend Michelle and her family got to welcome two more wonderful children into the church. Her twins Aubrey and Zachary were baptised today. It was a very special day. I am so happy for them. She also has two more little ones that have a few more years before they are baptized but that's fine. Anyway it was a big day all around. Now I am headed to bed because I start watching Isiaha full time tomorrow morning at 6:30 am. Yahhh I am so happy. He has come back without a fight and totally fell right back into step. I couldn't be happier.

That's all for now. Blog at you later.

NEW MOON

Ok so the best movie ever came out today and I got to pick up my Pre-ordered copy this morning. As soon as I got it home I watched it and totally fell in love with it again. I know Im crazy but I cant help it. I just love that set of movies and even better I totally love the books took. Later I cleaned the house and got everything ready for when Ryan and her kids came over to watch the movie with me again. Yes we all saw it in the theater but what can I say we just can't help ourselves. Anyway they left at about 11:30 and now we are all headed to bed.

Night. Blog at you later.

First Day with Isiaha

So today went wonderfully. I picked up Isiaha from McDonald's and went back to my house where we played and watched tv for about an hour then his mom and dad came and picked him up. While chatting we all decided to go to the Y together and go swimming and then watch the movie "Princess and the Frog." Totally the cutest movie I have seen in a very long time. Doesnt hurt that it is based in the same state that my wonderful husband is from. He he he. Anyway after the movie we came home and are now going to bed. Sorry so short I'm just really tired tonight.

Zumba and a Day out with Ryan

So I have been totally busy with my working out and cleaning my house and getting ready to have my little man again that I have totally forgot about the computer all together. Anyway I got to go the Zumba today and I thought at first that I was going to have to take the class alone because none of my Zumba crew was there but at the last minute Ryan showed up and I was very happy. It was a great class and then after wards Ryan said she had to run a few errands and I said so did I and asked if she wanted to go together since we were going to some of the same places. She said yes and so we went to my house so I could change because I hate to be in my workout clothes after I am done working out. Ryan came by to pick me us and we went out to run our errands. One of the errands I needed to run was to Wal-Mart to pick up the CD by Toby Mac. He is a Christian singer that our Zumba teacher Amy uses a lot. Before Zumba I had never heard of him but then again I didn't really follow Christian music. Anyway he is really good and I love his music. You can really move to it. After we were done we went back to her house to pick up Hunter from the bus and then headed to the YMCA to go swimming. Now we are home and I am hitting the bed early.

That's all for now. Blog at you later.

Metting the Mom

Ok so I was not able to go to DWA today because Isiaha's mom came home this week and I was able to finally meet her. She is so sweet. I just love her. I am really happy to say that she will be here for at least the next three months but she has to work so I will be watching Isiaha for her while she works. Im not sure how well that will work out because Isiaha has not let go of her since they got here. I hope he will readjust to me when I start having him all the time again. Plus I think he will see that when she leaves she will come back. I will start watching him again on Friday so I am excited.

After all that I went to Church tonight to try and do my only 2nd year girls pre-cert so that I will not have to go on Friday. Plus I really wanted to spend some time alone with Dominic. Since Elyssa didn't have Activity Days tonight and DJ did have scouts we got to spend some quality time together. It was nice. I just hope we can do that more often.

Anyway we are home now and headed to bed so...Blog at you later.

Just another Day at home

So I really thought I would get to go to Zumba today but no such luck. Ryan texted me this morning asking me about it and I said I wanted to go but she would have to come and pick me up since Tuesday's are the days that Dale usually works his doubles but I never heard back from her. Later she called me to tell me about Annaliese and Shaun's bad news and asked me to keep them in my prayers and I said of course. By the way I am so sorry to hear about your dad Shaun. My prayers are with you and your family in this hard time. Then Dale and the kids got home and I took the kids strait to swimming so they could get it out of the way. I'm glad I did cause there was not very many people there when we first got there and Ryan showed up with her kids to swim also but then they had a new life guard and she was blowing her whistle every five mins at the boys playing and I was getting very irritated at her. All they were doing was playing around but no matter what they did she seemed to not like it. Gezzz lady let the boys be boys would ya. It's not like they were hurting anyone. Anyway I could only take about an hour of that and we packed it up and went home. The kids ate dinner finished their homework and took showers and then hit they hay. Now I am doing the same since I have a big day tomorrow. I will tell you more later. He he he he. I have to give you a reason to come back. Lol.

Monday

Need I say more. This seems to be the busiest day of the week for me. So I woke up and did a little house work since it seems that my family thinks just because its the weekend they don't have to clean. Then I got dressed and headed to the gym for my DWA class thinking that I was going to be about 45 mins early for the class which made me very happy. On the way there I realized that I needed to go to the bank to pick up some money to pay Christie for the TOFW we are going to on April 9-10th. So I turn around mid-way to the gym and go to the bank only to realize once I get there that I have left my purse at home so I turned around and went home to get my purse then head back to the bank to pick up the money. On my way back to the gym I realized I needed to stop by the Dollar General to pick up some snacks for the kids for after school and that I wouldn't have time to do this after class so I did and then headed to the YMCA for the class. At this point I figured they would be no way I would be on time much less early and figured oh well I will just get in what I can. To my surprise once I got there there were very few cars in the parking lot and I had arrived to the gym just in time for the class to start. Yahhhhh me. After class I sat in the hot tub for a few then headed to the showers and then headed home. Once I got there Dale was ready to go to the gym but I told him I needed the car to go to my friend Danielle's house to do her nails for her, so I would drop him off and Robert could take him home once they were both done with their workouts. He said fine but he needed me to pay the storage on my way out so I said fine. Then I headed out to do what I needed to do. Once I got to Danielle;s everything went great until her girls got home from school and asked what plans I had for tonight. I told them that we were going to go swimming at the YMCA and then back home to eat dinner and go to bed. They asked if they could go swimming with us and I said that was fine with me but I could not take them all the way back out to their house and be back in time for Dale to go to work but Danielle said it was fine with her that she had been meaning to go to the YMCA to pick up an application anyway and so she would just pick them up there at 7:30. I said great and the girls and I headed back to the house to pick up Dale and the kids who had no idea that I had the girls with me. Once we got there they were very happy to see who was in the car with me and we all headed to the Y. We swam and the kids played and then we all headed home. Now we are finished eating dinner and the kids are in bed so I am headed there to.

Well that's all for now. Blog at you later.

Major Headache

So today was Stake Conference and so the kids and I woke up and got ready and Ryan and her kids came and picked us up and off we all went to the Stake Center. It was a good program but half way through I started to get a major migraine. I hate when I get those. I got home ate some lunch and then went back to bed. I slept for about three hours and woke up hoping my headache would be gone but no such luck. I really hope it goes away soon. I made dinner put the kids to bed and sent Dale off to work. Now I am going to take some med's and go back to bed. Sorry so short.

Catching up on my week

Wow where did the rest of this week go. Last I looked it was only Wednesday and all the sudden it is now Saturday night. Ok so let me get you caught up on what has been going on.

Thursday 3-11-10

Not a lot happened today. I woke up at the normal time and did a little cleaning then headed over to the YMCA to do Zumba with Michelle and Heather then came home and finished cleaning and getting ready for my busy day tomorrow. Then made dinner and went to bed. Told you not much happened.

Friday 3-12-10

Ok so today was a totally crazy day. I got up and finished up the clothes that I started yesterday then got dressed and did some last minute things to get ready for the Pre-Certs I have tonight with the YL's and the 1st year girls, then headed to the YMCA to work out with the wonderful Amy for another day of Zumba. Man I just can't seem to get enough of that class. Anyway afterwards Michelle and I sat in the lobby with Brently waiting for our husbands to finish working out and ran into Elaine who stopped to chat with us for a bit then headed home and Michelle showed me how to change the cover of my book so that it was a little more personal. Then Ryan showed up for a small minute to chat with us then they all had to leave because Ryan needed to put baby john down for a nap so he would not be cranky for the Pre-Certs tonight and Michelle had a class at the Y to teach her how to use the equipment so she can build her upper body for this summer. Once they were gone I worked on my book for a bit longer then went and took a shower and got ready for my Pre-Certs class tonight. While getting everything ready my printer decided it was done printing for the night and ran out of Black ink. Yahhh printer way to crap out on me. Anyway I went on to class and finished up my copy's there then headed home since I couldn't do the whole class because of the wonderful rain. Once I was home Dale and the kids were just finishing up dinner so we sat down to watch a movie together called Post-Grad which was a great movie then we put the kids to bed and Dale and I watched another movie called Drag Me To Hell which was a scary movie then we went to bed.

Saturday 3-13-10

Ok now for today. Well we were all suppose to get up and go to Dominic's Therapy this morning but we all slept in and missed it. We didn't get up until 10:30 and had breakfast then sat around a talked and watched TV together until 2:00 then went and ran a few errands and then went to the Y to go swimming. We met up with Ryan and her kids and played for a couple of hours then came home. Dj and Elyssa made Spaghetti for dinner and we all loved it then the kids it the bed and I finished working on my book. I only have a couple of more pictures to put in it and I am done with my first book. Yahhhh. Now I am done with the catching up for the week I need to go to bed because we have church tomorrow and I am going to be loosing an hour of sleep since it is Day light Savings time. Go spring.

Well that's all for tonight. Blog at you later.

Keeping busy on a Beautiful Day

So today was one of those days you never want to end. It feels like spring is finally here. It was a beautiful day with the temp. being just perfect with a little breeze and a ton of sun. Anyway I got dressed and headed to the gym to work out. I walked the track for an hour and then did my DWA class. Afterwards I took the car home so that Dale could go to the gym and Michelle, Heather and Myself headed over to the Raw foods class and had a great lunch with a bunch of wonderful woman. Then I came home and enjoyed some time on my deck while the kids got home and did their homework. Then we all ate dinner and headed to the church for Activity Days. I found out tonight that I have a new person in Activity Days with Molly and myself. Her name is Julia Waldraup. She is wonderful. I am so glad there are three of us in there now because there are just to many girls. We are also going to move it to the room above the stage that way it is a little quieter and we wont have anyone kicking us out. You know today was so busy for me but when I type it all out for this blog it seems like I didn't do much today when really it took me all day to do everything I did. Crazy how that is huh. Well I am pooped so I am headed to bed.

That's all for now. Blog at you later.

Nothing Important

Today was a pretty normal day. I didn't get to go to the gym cause Dale worked his double and Ryan forgot about me. Boo. I cleaned house and watched Isaiah and had a quick Girls Camp meeting with Michelle and Heather. Then spent the rest of the day with the kids.

That's all for today. Blog at you later.

DWA and a Day with a Friend

Today was a great day. I woke up with a ton of energy and stepped on the scale and I have lost a total of 35 lbs since the beginning of the year. I am so happy. This working out thing is really paying off. All of my clothes are hanging off of me and I am totally thrilled about it. Dale says he can really see the change in me although I see it on the scale and in my clothes I really don't see it on myself but I guess I am just use to seeing FAT that this is all I see for now. Oh well I am still totally siked about the weight loss. Anyway I had my DWA class today and Christie kicked my butt today. I totally love it when she does that. She is like our drill Sargent and pushes us to a point that really works for us. I love her class. Afterwards we sat in the hot tub like we always do then got out and showered then dressed and left. On our way out Michelle asked me if I wanted to ride with her to the Scouts store in Clarksville and I said yes since I have not had a ton to time to spend with her since we moved out here to the city. After finding the address to the store we were a little confused because it was not a Scouting store it was a hardware store so we called the place and the lady said that the store was inside the hardware store. Duhhhh did we ever feel silly. After getting the things Michelle needed we headed over to a Mexican restaurant to eat and got to talking about spring and Easter pictures and what colors were going to where and somewhere along the way we got to talking about jean skirts and I told her that I had just found one at Cato's that was a very good price and she said dang. I looked at her a little funny and she said all the big girls get the cute clothes and I just had to laugh cause I always that the exact thing about all the skinny girls. We both laughed and then she said she wished she could shop at Cato's but they didn't carry her size and I just looked at her and said why what size do you where and she told me and I told her they carry that size they have a junior side and a plus side in the store and she said no they don't and I said yes they do trust me I shop there all the time its my favorite store and she said ok lets go and see. I said fine and we finished eating and headed over to Cato's. When we got there we found several outfits for her in less than an hour and she tried them on and bought three of the five she tried on. Plus she bought jewelry to match them. All that for about 150.00. She was so happy that she found them. She told me that usually she had to shop for like thee or four days just to get one outfit and it costs her about half that much for just the one outfit with no jewelry. I told her that's why I loved that store because you always get great deals and tons of clothes. After we were done there we headed over to Wal-Mart to pick up a couple of thing she needed then she took me home and went home herself. Once I got here I talked with Dale and the kids and then we all got ready and headed back to the YMCA to go swimming. We played for about an hour and a half and Ryan came with her kids and Niki's kids and just when we were getting ready to leave Christie and her family showed up to swim. How funny. Any way now I am home and headed to bed for the night.

Sorry Been Busy

Ok I know it has been a couple of days since I last posted but I have been a busy busy girl. So let me get you caught up on what has been going on in my life.

Thursday 3-4:

Today was a normal day so to speak. I got up and got dressed then proceeded to clean my house like I try to do everyday. Then had plans to go to the gym to do Zumba but decided to spend the day with Dale and run some errands instead. I'm glad I did because he and I have not had a whole lot of time together lately. Not personal time anyway. Then the kids got home from school and we all just hung out together until it was time to go to bed. After the kids went to bed I started on making this blog into a book. It is taking some time but I really think it is going to be great when it is done.

Friday 3-5:

Today I got up and went to the gym and walked the track for about an hour while Dale slept in. Then I got home and got ready for my day. Dale and I went shopping because, one I needed a new swim suite for my Deep Water Aerobics class and Dale just plain out needed a new suite all together. His was falling apart at the seems, and two I needed to get some food in the house or we would all starve to death. Then we went and picked up the kids from school because Dj had a therapy session in Nashville again today. I am so glad that this will be the last time we have to take them out of school for this. After his session we came home and I got ready to go to the Church for my meeting with the YL's. Yes it is that time of year again when the fun and stressful windup to Girls Camp happens. This was to be the first of five weeks in a row that I would be meeting girls for their Pre-Certification class. For those of you who have never been to Girls Camp it is a time for the girls to learn what they are going to need to know when they get to camp. Basically skills they will have to practice to be able to pass them off at camp. Anyway I have about 4 or 5 YL's and only two of them where going to be able to come so I told them never mind and that we would all meet next week with the 1st year girls. After that Dale the kids and I all got ready to go swimming at the YMCA and then watch a movie in the Youth Center. Tonight they are showing a movie called "Where the wild things are". It was a very slow and boring movie to Dale and I but the kids seemed to like it. Anyway after the movie we went home. The kids went to bed and Dale watched the movie"2012" while I worked some more on my Blog book. I thought I was going to have to break it up into several volumes but when I got to playing around with it I figured out how to make it into one book without it costing me an arm and a leg. He he he.

Saturday 3-6:

Ok today was a busy busy day. I got up and cleaned my house which took a long time because it is that time of year again to start clearing everything out and get ready for spring. Once it was all done I worked some more on my Blog book and then took Elyssa to Chuck-E-Cheese for Brently's birthday. Oh ya Happy Birthday Brently. Then I got home and finished making dinner for Dale, Dj and myself. Elyssa had pizza at Brently's party. Now I am finishing up this post and then I am heading to bed. There now I am all caught up.

That's all for now. Blog at you later.

Random Dozen

Ok so I thought I would try this new thing I keep seeing on a ton of peoples blogs that looks like a ton of fun. Its called Random Dozen and it is a bunch of questions you answer so that people get to know you a little better. So here goes.

1. Do you prefer even or odd numbers? Any particular reason? I would have to say even just because I think they are easier to deal with if you have to split anything up.

2. On a scale of 1-10, with 1 being "not at all" and 10 being Carly Simon-worthy, how vain are you? 4 or 5 maybe.

3. Among these Irish stereotypes, with which do you identify most closely? Talkative, Proud, Inquisitive, Love to party, Hot-tempered. I would have to say all but the love to party one. Im up for a good party every once in a blue moon as long as there is nothing bad going on but not all the time.

4. How lucky do you consider yourself? ok I guess

5. What is the subject of your favorite post that you've written? I would have to say anyting about my family.

6. Describe March weather where you live in three words. cold, windy, wet

7. How apt are you at detecting blarney when you hear it? (Smooth talk, flattery) I would have ot say I am pretty good at it.

8. How "green" are you, environmentally speaking? Ohhh I would have to say not very green but trying very hard to get there.

9. What is your favorite song this week? Oh that would have to be City on our knees by Toby Mac

10. You are walking along and see a coin on the ground. What denomination does it have to be before you will stop to pick it up? a penny

11. Complete the sentence: "Every time I look outside my window ...." I see a building and parked cars. I live in an Aptment.

12. What was the #1 song on the day you were born? See this site to find out. MacArthur Park--Donna Summer

Ok now its your turn copy and paste this to your blog and change the answers to match you. Have fun. Can't wait to learn more about all of you.

Busy Day

Today was one of those days you wish you could go back to bed and start all over again. Well it didn't start out that way. I got up early was going about my schedule on time and then my brother called me to talk and then Michelle called me to talk and let me know that, one she was not coming to class today and two Bella ( her little teacup dog) has taken a turn for the worse and she wanted to let me know that she was going to keep her instead of giving her to me. I told her it was fine and that I completely understood. No hard feelings. Then I told her I needed to go because I had DWA today. As I got off the phone I got my things together and started out the door when I realized I didn't have my keys. It took me 30 mins to find them making me late for class. Man things where just not going my way. I did my class and it was a good workout and then chatted for a bit with the girls then got showered and dressed and left. I got home to my husband in a panic because I left my phone at home by accident and he needed the car to take his cousin's wife to Nashville to file a Police report because an 18 wheeler side swiped her on the interstate and kept going. So I told him that that was fine but I needed him to drop me off at Michelle's house so that we could get ready for the Parents meeting we were having for Girls Camp. He said fine and we went about our day. I got to Michelle's house and got finished what we needed to get done and had a couple of hours to just sit and talk. Then we were off to church for our meeting and there were only four moms that showed up. Michelle was pleased because she hates to talk to a large group. I wasn't so pleased because that meant we had to plan another meeting with the parents after church on Sunday. Oh well. Anyway I am home now and getting ready to crash because I am so tired.

That's all for now. Blog at you later.

Short and Sweet

Well today didn't go as well as I was hoping it would. First off I got a call from James last night asking me if I would watch Isaiah for him and I said yes. I love having that little boy. He is so sweet. Then I was planning on going to Zumba today with Ryan since Dale works his doubles on Tuesday but I couldn't get in touch with her all day so I didn't get to go. I hate when that happens. I didn't have Isaiah very long. Then the kids got home and we finished working on their Science Fair Projects. They both had very interesting outcomes. I think they had fun working on them. I will post pictures later of their projects. Anyway I guess I will go for now.

Back on track

Today was a great day. I woke up feeling wonderful and only coughing a little. I got dressed for DWA and cleaned up my house while waiting for my husband to get ready to go. We both left and headed for the YMCA. I went right into class and he headed to the weight room. I was early so I got out of my clothes and got my things ready by the pool for class then decided I should just jump in and be warmed up by the time class was to start. I'm glad I did because the water was freezing and it took me a good 10 mins to warm up to the water. Then Christie and everyone else got there and we had a great work out. Afterwards we all sat in the hot tub and chatted like we always did for about 30 mins then got out and showered off and left. Dale said he had a good workout and that his legs were really tight from the workout. Then we headed out to pay a few bills and then off to Hobby Lobby to pick up a few things I need to make a Congrats card for Laura and her new baby girl. While we were there we ran into Elaine who was picking up some things also. Funny how that works. You get us girls up and exercised and all the sudden we are full of energy and out running around. Hahahaha. Anyway we finished and headed home to eat lunch because I was finally getting hungry. After we ate Dale went to lie down and get some rest since he has to work tonight and I finished cleaning up and waited for the kids to get home so that we could go to Wal-Mart and pick up the things they needed for their Science Fair Projects. Elyssa is doing one called Pop Pop Pop where you see how many of the kernels popped in each bag and which brand was worth the money. Dj is doing one called Egg Drop. You can guess what his project is about. He tried three different ways to protect an egg from breaking when he dropped them off the balcony of my apt. It will be interesting to see how their projects turn out. Anyway its time for me to hit the hay so..........
