Today was a great day. I spent most of it with Mindy. She is really having a hard time now that her and her boyfriend are broken up for good. So I went over to invite her to come to my scrapbooking day at the church. She asked if it was really church and I said no it is a bunch of women getting together to chat and scrapbook and have a great time. It just happened to be located at my church building. She said fine and finished up what she was doing and we loaded up and headed out. On our way there she said she was hungry and wanted to go to this Mexican restaurant by the church and so I called Elaine to let her know and she said she would meet us for lunch. After lunch we went to the church and had a great time. Austin played and ran around and Aiden was good for the most part. We stayed until about 4:30 then headed home. Once I got home and greeted everyone and was talking about my day Mindy called again and asked if we wanted to come over for Karaoke night. We said sure and headed over. We had a blast singing one by one were eliminated. First me then Elyssa then Dale then Dj leaving Mindy the winner. We headed home after that and put the kids to bed. Now I am finishing up this post and headed to bed myself.

Sounds like a good night. I love days like that... So glad you got to take Mindy out while she is sad... that's a great friend right there
