The Missionaries came over and we had dinner with them then talked about how we can connect with the kids to bring them closer to the gospel. It was a good talk. I really think that as we take it slow with them they will all come around and really enjoy the new way of life. I have to tell them on a daily basis that they no longer live in California and they can't have the same attitude toward life that they had out there. I understand they are young and just don't get it but I think in time they will. They also have to deal with the fact that they just lost their father less than a year ago and on top of that they had a big move n January. I know that is not what you are suppose to do but when your world is falling apart around you, you need to do what is best, so they made the move here and so far its not going as smoothly as we hoped. First the job mom had set up fell through then the apartment she was going to get ended up having more work that needed to be done to it and would take at least six months to finish. Then just when we thought things would start looking up mom got into a car accident and lost the car. Now the apartment complex I live in is saying they can no longer stay here. So now what. Well things have started to turn around, Mom got a job and now qualifies for a help program to get her into a house and Dale told me that if I can get a job soon that makes enough money for me to cover my own car payment and insurance and he saves about 2000.00 so that he can get a truck then he will sell mom his car since it is all paid for. That way she doesn't have to rely on anyone to get her around. I know how that feels considering that I had to wait three years before I could get a car of my own. Anyway now that things are finally going in the right direction we can all look forward to a brighter future.
well that's all for now. Blog at you later.
