Leaving to go to Mississippi

So like I said yesterday we left the house at about 4:30 and got on the road at about 4:45 in the morning. It was quiet in the car because the kids went right back to sleep when we got going. Dale and I stayed awake and got to do a little bit of talking. It was a nice drive. The kids slept most of the time down there and Dale drove so I got to take pictures and enjoy the ride. It was a long drive and beautiful until we got to Montgomery, Alabama. Then it was just flat boring land. Not like being here in Tennessee. Anyway we got there at about noon and meet up with Melissa and Andrew. Then we headed over to her mom's new house to see her and see how she is doing then Melissa took us over to her uncle's new beach front property and the kids got to play in the water while I caught up with Melissa. We saw a ton of hermit crabs, and I do mean a ton. There was one rock that had a whole colony on it and there must have been at least a thousand of them. It was the most I have ever seen. The kids loved it but it reminded me why I didn't want to move back down there. Its OK to visit but I really have never been a beach person unless it is clear water. Plus Mississippi water stinks like dead fish and other stuff. But the kids seemed to enjoy it a little. Dale ran up and down the beach but also said that he is glad we live up here and not down there. After that we went and saw my parents and my little brother Cameron. Well he is younger than me but he is way taller than me. He is going to be 19 this year and I cant believe how much he has grown. After being there for a couple of hours we headed over to my brother Gabe's house to visit with him and his family. My nephews are getting so big (pictures to come soon) and my sister in law is just as beautiful as ever. She got a couple of new tattoo's since I last saw her. They are nice. My brother got a really big one that starts at his bellybutton and continues around to the middle of his back. He is a paramedic and so that is what he got. The tattoo is the paramedics symbol with a tribal on both sides that spell out love. Its cool. Not that I would ever get a tattoo. I'm to scared of needles. Plus those things are permanent. Anyway after visiting for awhile we left to head home at about 10:30 pm.

Well that's all for now. Blog at you tomorrow.
