Peaceful Sunday's

Well a lot of people have been doing this Thankful Thursdays, and while that's great I'm not really a follower so I think i am going to do Peaceful Sunday's instead. So here it goes.

I am really glad that I have such a wonderful set of family and friends. What I mean is I logged onto the computer this afternoon to find two letters in my inbox from my wonderful children. They both have their own email accounts so that they can keep in touch with their friends over the summer and our extended family all year around. Anyway as I read them I began to realize just how much they really do care and listen to what I tell them. Yes I do get mad and yell only to turn around later and apologize for it. I have always thought that after all that they still let in go in one ear and out the other but I was surprised to find out that that is not always the case. They really do listen and hold on to the things that I say to them and they really appreciate all the things I do for them. They let me know this in the letters that they sent. True they didn't say it to me out loud but sometimes I find that when you just write it down it's easier to say what you really want to say without having to be interrupted by everyday things. I really love that they know this and are willing to tell me what they need to say even if it isn't to my face but on my email instead. They really do grow up so fast.

OK on to other things. Today at church I took the girls who are about to turn twelve and let them see just what the young women's program really looks like on Sundays and then let them sit in on a Beehive class (which is what they will be when they first go into the program at twelve) and we talked a lot about how important it is to write in your journal. How it really can help your future generations with things like problems they are having or just reaffirming how important it is to really believe in God plus it really lets them know just what you have gone through in your life and the struggles that you had to overcome to become the person that you are now or where at that point in your life. While I completely agree with that, most of the time I am just to tired at the end of the day to sit down and write so now I am going to start typing it. I am on here before I go to bed most nights anyways so why not. Plus most likely it will all end up typed up and put into a book for my future generations to have so why not get a jump start on it right. At least that's what I think anyway.

Well that is all for today so until tomorrow have a peaceful Sunday.
